First Generation Rosen’s


Celebrating 80 years in business, Rosen’s Uniforms is the proud legacy of the Rosen family.  Originally started amidst the Great Depression, Mollie and Jack Rosen started Rosen’s as a traditional department store in Albany, NY where you could purchase anything from pots and pans to sheets and pillow cases and of course apparel.

Second Generation Rosen’s


Helen Rosen-Scherzer and Harvey Scherzer took the helm of this family owned business in the 1970's.  The business evolved into a "Store for Young Moderns" offering all the cool and hip clothing styles, along with the introduction of Public Safety uniforms by request of their customers.

Rosen’s Uniforms opened a our second store in Middletown,NY in August 2007. Some of the staff have served along side the finest in the frontlines to protect our communities over the years. General manager Doug Nadoraski retired from Albany, NY police department after 36 years of service.

Rosen’s Uniforms Return & Exchange Policy

Under no circumstances will any returns be allowed on custom built and special order items. All merchandise accepted for return or an exchange by Rosen’s Uniforms must be accompanied by the original sales invoice and be received by Rosen’s Uniforms within 30 days of receipt of the product. We will issue the purchaser a credit note when we have received the goods back in good condition and without modification. The credit note entitles the purchaser to obtain other goods from us in exchange or a credit applied to the form of payment used at time of purchase. Shipping charges are not refundable and shipping and handling charges on returns must be borne by the buyer. Refund on shipping is at the decision of management. Gifts may be exchanged only if original hangtags are attached and the product has not been washed or worn. In the event that the style being returned is no longer available for exchange, a product of equal value may be substituted instead. If product purchased is discontinued or deeply discounted at point of sale the product is non returnable. Please be sure to follow washing and handling instructions carefully as Rosen’s Uniforms does not give returns or exchanges due to mis-washing of products. Any orders we agree to restock will incur a 15% restocking fee on the original cost price.

To mail a Return or Exchange:

1.) Call Rosen’s Uniforms Return Department (518) 434-1376 to get an RA (Returns Authorization) number. 2.) The Return Authorization number must be visible on the outside of the package, for the return to process. We recommend using UPS to ship your return. If sending regular mail we recommend insuring the package.
